Proposed Health and Safety Guidelines for Motion Picture, Television, and Streaming Productions During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 “To assure safe and healthful working conditions for working men and women; by authorizing enforcement of the standards developed under the Act; by assisting and encouraging the States in their efforts to assure safe and healthful working conditions; by providing for research, information, education, and training in the field of occupational safety and health.”

Measures have been developed to protect against
the exposure to the novel coronavirus, COVID-19.
Using appropriate combinations of engineering and
administrative controls, safe practices, and personal
protective equipment (PPE) can help prevent
exposures.

After releasing LPI 138 about hygiene precautions on ARRI products, Service and Product Management received many questions regarding the suitability of certain disinfectants and methods that can be used with ARRI products.

In an effort to protect our cast and crew from the spread of the COVID-19 virus, Lionsgate/Starz (the “Company”) is continuing to establish new policies and practices to provide a safe working environment for all productions.  Below please find our new mandatory guidelines, summarized below:

Este protocolo nace con el fin de reactivar la economía del sector del Cine Publicitario siendo rigurosos con el cuidado de los trabajadores/as, velando por la sanidad pública con el afán de ayudar y de adaptarnos al momento que vivimos. Este plan de actuación respetará siempre todas las normativas declaradas en los Boletines Oficiales del Estado desde el 14 de Marzo de 2020 hasta la fecha de este protocolo. Aprobadas por la Autoridad Competente y las diferentes Autoridades Competentes Delegadas.

La Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social (STPS) publicó esta tarde la tercera actualización de la Guía de Acción para los Centros de Trabajo ante el COVID-19, en la que pidió a las empresas que siguen operando suspender de forma temporal las actividades no esenciales al interior de sus organizaciones, a fin de contener la diseminación del virus.

The breach of this protocol by an individual or company involves being immediately removed from the set and / or the total closure of the filming for security measures. It is everyone's duty to take care of each other. Please exercise extreme caution. *
